Therapy in Boulder

Live a life free from the grasps of diet culture and weight stigma.

Come home to yourself. Be Well Within.

Your struggles with food don’t have to control your life.

It’s possible to have a better relationship with food and your body.

Hi, I'm Brianna.

Hi, I'm Brianna.

You feel at war with your body. You cannot stop thinking about what you just ate. The calorie counting won’t stop. You are preoccupied with these thoughts and cannot enjoy the things you want to do.

I believe that I can help you get to the root of your suffering and remind you that your body is welcome here.

I am passionate about working with clients who are fed up with constantly thinking about food and their body, but want to go deeper than challenging their thoughts. The clients who are curious, who want to change their internal dialogue, their entire way of relating to the world, and build a more trusting, loving, and aligned relationship with self.

My clients walk away from therapy with me feeling empowered and eager to take up space.

I specialize in working with adolescents and adults who are struggling with their relationship with food and their body, those individuals who want more for their future, but don’t know where to start. We can go beyond traditional talk therapy and use feminist psychology, relational theory, psychedelic science, somatic, and mindfulness approaches

What does it mean to be Well Within?

This work is not about learning to live within the systems that oppress us.

There are many social forces that shape how we relate to and feel about both ourselves and our bodies. We live in a world that constantly, ruthlessly judges our bodies—particularly if our bodies are anything other than thin. We live in a world where we often don’t feel good enough. We are told we need to achieve more, do more, and work harder.

We override our intuition, that quiet voice inside that tells us we belong just as we are.

Being Well Within is about reclaiming your wholeness, feeling worthy in your skin, and bringing the full expression of who you are into the world.

Being Well Within is about prioritizing your relationship with yourself, knowing that it is the most important relationship you will ever have. It is knowing yourself, listening to yourself, loving yourself, and learning to trust yourself,

Together we will work toward body liberation and full expression of self, freeing you from unknowingly internalizing the social systems of oppression that designate certain bodies as more worthy, healthy, and desirable than others.

Regardless of what you heard as a kid or the ideas that you used to subscribe to, feeling Well Within, despite your weight, shape, or others’ ideas of what you “should be” is possible. I want that for you.
